Rio Bravo Simulator

Full-scope, high fidelity simulator delivered to Falcon Group’s Rio Bravo Unit II Plant in Tamaulipas, Mexico. The 2-on-1 combined cycle plant consists of two vertically arranged Heat Recovery Steam Generator units feeding a single Steam Turbine with a combined 500MW capacity. Samahnzi developed the full-scope process models as well as translated emulations of all Distributed Control Systems and HMI's running on SimuPACT. Siemens T-3000 is used for the control of the two Gas Turbines as well as the Steam Turbine Governor. Foxboro I/A is used for the control of the Balance of Plant. Lastly an emulation of Woodward was deployed for the Steam Turbine Protection System.
