Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, communications or an equivalent discipline.

At least 5 (five) years of marketing experience, where technical products and/or projects were promoted.


The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing effective marketing strategies, assisting with campaign development, analyzing the effectiveness of each campaign and developing ‘lead’ generation programs. He/she will play an integral role in building and engaging the company’s customer base, and creating effective strategies that will promote the long-term growth of SimGenics.


  • Conduct market research to find answers about customer requirements, habits and trends.

  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns.

  • Create and execute ‘lead’ generation programs.

  • Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)

  • Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns.

  • Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts.

  • Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, etc.)

  • Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.

  • Ensure that creative marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to brand guidelines.

  • Manage the process to keep SimGenics current and up to date on our clients’ vendor databases.

  • Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned.


  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as Social media etc.) and market research methods.

  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.

  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software and applications (Web analytics, Google Ad-words, etc.)

  • Well-organized and detail oriented.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation and writing skills.

  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind.

Working hours: 8 to 5 with ½ hour lunch break.

Remuneration: To be negotiated. 70% fixed, 30% commission based.

Leave: 15 working days per year.

SimGenics closes from 24-Dec to 02-Jan each year, which will be paid leave subtracted from the above mentioned leave.
